Our Candidates

Xaviare Reed
for President
Xaviare has been at the Postal Service in the Maintenance Craft for a decade, and has years of experience as a steward, Maintenance Craft Director, and now as President. He fully believes in rebuilding and reforming this local union to better serve the members, fight against management, and fight against possible downsizing and/or consolidation. He has been involved with helping Clerks and Maintenance employees alike, with grievances, EEOs, OWCP, etc. He has worked closely with the rest of this team to further our goals of reform. Management has been actively campaigning against him because they know he will not compromise. Supervisors have even been telling employees during their stand-up talks to vote against Xaviare! That alone should tell you that management is afraid of him standing up for the members and fighting back.

Evan Correa
for Vice President
Evan Correa has been at the Postal Service for many years now, and is currently an Expeditor on Tour 2 at Citygate. He has served as Chief Steward, Steward, Alternate Steward, Step 2 designee, etc. He has also taken an active role in the Local RI-399 process, fighting to protect Clerk Craft work and to take back the work that should be Clerk work on the new PILS machines. Evan has also been branching out to help cover the Associate Offices and City Stations. He is everywhere, seemingly all at once, and is tirelessly dedicated to fighting for the members.

Tammy Savage
for Secretary-Treasurer
Tammy is a Mail Processing Clerk on Tour 3 at Citygate P&DC, working in Automation. She recently became the Secretary-Treasurer, which she is quickly adapting to, on top of her experience prior to the Postal Service managing business. She is also a steward, where she is a determined fighter against harassment and management abuse. She is not afraid to fight back against management, and she will be a great asset for our local union for years to come.
Previously-Elected Team

Brenda Hudson
Clerk Craft Director
Brenda is currently a Lead Clerk at Citygate P&DC, and has worked at the Postal Service for years. She has been a great steward, performing as a Step 2 Designee, and now as Clerk Craft Director. She’s also catered a number of union events. Brenda is a member of the Constitution and Entertainment Committees. She is dedicated, motivated, and determined to help rebuild and reform this local union so it actually represents the members correctly. Brenda is a strong member of this team, and is determined to see real change in our union!

Christina Chapman
Recording Secretary
Christina (“Tina”) was a Clerk for the first 4 years of her career at the Postal Service before switching to Maintenance, and she is now a Building Equipment Mechanic at Twin Rivers. She is the new Recording Secretary, the Assistant Maintenance Craft Director, a steward for Clerks and Maintenance, a Step-2-designee, and she is a Business Agent for the Ohio Postal Workers Union (OPWU) as well. In the past she’s been a Trustee, and she is now the Chair of the Entertainment Committee, and a member of the Constitution Committee. Tina has been closely involved with a number of the local union’s parties. She also has an education background in paralegal studies, and she’s devoted to the cause of rebuilding and reforming this local union to better represent the members and fight back against management.

Cameron Taylor
Maintenance Craft Director
Cameron has been at the Postal Service for 11 years now – 5 of those years in the Clerk Craft and 6 of those years in the Maintenance Craft. He is currently an Electronic Technician on Tour 2 at Citygate P&DC. He has been dedicated to rebuilding and reforming this local union, no matter what it takes. He wears many hats: he is a Maintenance steward, he’s an alternate Clerk steward, he’s the Maintenance Craft Director, he’s the Editor of the Vindicator and APWU 232’s website, and is the Chair of the Constitution Committee. He is dedicated to the fight against harassment, especially by management. He now regularly trains our stewards, has put together three training guides, and has put on multiple presentations against harassment. He’s also created the online DBCS Operator Statement form that many Clerks use.
