A Message from Tammy Savage
Secretary Treasurer
Dear brothers and sisters,
For those of you who do not know me, my name is Tammy Savage. I proudly serve as your Secretary-Treasurer, and I am also a steward on Tour Three at City Gate. I take great pride in both roles and in the responsibility that comes with representing you. I became a steward after experiencing harassment by management. Instead of staying silent, I chose to step up. I wanted to combat harassment and be a voice for those who felt too intimidated or fearful of retaliation to speak up for themselves. That decision was not easy, but it was necessary—and I am proud that I took that first step. On March 15, 2025, I took my second step when I was sworn in as your Secretary-Treasurer. This is a position I do not take lightly.
I accepted this responsibility knowing it would not always be easy but also knowing that I am always ready to face a challenge head-on. Transparency is extremely important to me. I believe our union leadership must be open, honest, and accountable to the membership at all times. You deserve clear communication, responsible handling of our finances, and leadership that operates with integrity. I am committed to ensuring that you always know where we stand and that your trust is well placed. With nearly a year in this role, I feel confident in the work I have done and the progress we have made together. I have learned a great deal along the way, and I continue to grow every day.
Your voice matters, and your input helps us grow stronger. If you are interested in becoming more involved—whether as a future leader or as a volunteer—we would be truly grateful to have you join us. There is a place for everyone who is willing to serve and contribute.
I am excited about what we have achieved, and I look forward to continuing our work together to bring about even more positive change in the future.
Thank you all for your unwavering dedication.
Sincerely,
Tammy Savage
Secretary Treasurer
